Ride in the luxury of modern four wheel drive
vehicles, on custom planned tours of the Huon region to the south of
Tasmania's capital city, Hobart. Passenger numbers are limited to
ensure maximum passenger comfort and provide personalised service.
The Huon region is bounded by the D'Entrecasteaux
Channel and Bruny Island to the east, the Tasman Sea to the south and
the South West Wilderness Area to the west. The region is one of the
most diverse in Tasmania, ranging from rainforest and south west
wilderness to beautiful coastal beaches and scenery. Visit this region
and you will have had a taste of all of Tasmania.
In addition to the stunning scenery, and changing
terrain, each tour provides a choice of visits to local attractions
such as the region's finest vineyards, the Tahune Forest Airwalk,
Hastings Caves, craft shops, museums and wildlife park. Visit the Snowy
Range Trout Fishery, catch and cook a tasty trout or salmon, then enjoy
a picnic lunch.
Two base tours are offered. One takes in the Snowy
Range and Tahune Forest Reserve areas, the other covers the Far South,
Hastings Cave Reserve and Tahune Forest Reserve.
Tour routes are designed to take in many natural
scenic points and may include off road sections not passable by normal
vehicles. A number of commercial tourist attractions are offered as
options.
Fares for tours are inclusive of all entry fees,
park fees, morning and afternoon teas and lunch. Personal purchases are
not covered in tour fares.
